The annual meeting of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is in Houston this year, also known as the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE). David will be going as a member of the Executive Committee of theBehavioral Health Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. There will be also be a meeting for Dietitians for Professional Integrity, which is a movement started by dietitians who believe that the Academy should not be receiving funding from organizations like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo. I am a supporter of this movement and am willing to take action towards challenging the obvious corruption of the food industry, particularly their influence upon nutrition curriculum targeted towards dietitians.
